The adult inpatient program provides short-term evaluation and treatment for adults who are experiencing acute symptoms of major mental illnesses.

Highlights:

• 24 beds on a secured unit
• Comprehensive assessment, including psychiatric evaluation, medical history and physical evaluation, psycho-social assessment and family assessment as needed.
• Daily visits by the patient's primary doctor
• A cohesive, supportive and therapeutic setting with constant supervision by trained staff
• A multi-disciplinary staff of registered nurses, social workers, licensed psychiatric technicians, creative arts and expressive therapists and other support staff
• Individualized plans of care that include input from the patient, family members and care givers
• Discharge and after-care planning initiated at the time of admission
